Income for first nine months this year exceeds whole of 2007

Record result for SDFI:
Net income for the Norwegian government from its involvement in offshore petroleum operations (the State's Direct Financial Interest - SDFI) came to NOK 118.9 billion for the first nine months of 2008. This was NOK 6.6 billion higher than for the whole of last year.
